you are what you love

and not what loves you back.

I finally watched Adaptation last night and I very much enjoyed it.
One of my favorite parts is when the twin brothers are hiding behind a tree trunk in a swamp. Charlie tells Donald that he admires him because he is oblivious to what people say about him. First of all, the two brothers are complete opposites, Charlie is pessimistic and Donald is the optimist, to make things short. Charlie talks about when they were in high school and Donald had a crush on a girl, Sarah. Donald and Sarah were both talking, Donald walks away smiling while Sarah makes fun of him behind his back. Donald says that he knew what she was doing. He said that Sarah not liking him was her own business. He says that he loved her, and that he owned that feeling and no one could take that away. He decided a long time ago that he is what he loves, and not what loves him back.

I really like that.

Cubs win 4-2 over the Astros
I went to the thrift store and bought a Cardinals shirt for 80 centz
I'm doing alright, considering the circumstances
