I want that cd. So far every song I have listened to has been really good. Right now I am liking So far around the bend by The National. I like songs that make me think about certain things/people/places/etc and that song does that to me.
Today I got a compliment from my speech teacher that pretty much made my day. I am such a sucker for compliments, even if they're really small, I don't know if its just me, but sometimes hearing nice things from other people makes me feel like I'm doing something right, for once.
She just asked me what school I go to, because I think since most people that go to summer school at community college are from Universities, she just assumed I was one of them. And she just said that I seem like a very intelligent young lady. I think I'm too hard on myself at times and hearing that just makes everything I put myself through worthwhile.
OH AND SOME GOOD NEWS!
I might be spending my birthday in milwaukee to see the walkmen!
