I did my first lesson plan today. I think it went fairly well, my only worry is that I didn't incorporate enough activities or enough time. Although I did put a lot of time and thought into the construction of the activity itself. I basically bought colored markers, construction paper, and a white poster board, and had pictures of fruits and vegetables on them. I had the kids name each one, and then paste the name underneath the picture on the poster. The font took me an especially long time, and it was incredibly tedious. Now I just have one more activity to do and I am finite.
Oh, and the coat that I had ordered about a week ago finally came in today. It is not nearly as ugly as I thought it would be! In fact, it's actually quite attractive.
It's like everything around me has finally settled me, or perhaps, it is me that has finally settled in.
